Mary or Sierra will be the voice on the other end of the phone. We pride ourselves on our customer service. Our staff are very knowledgeable and can answer many of your questions. They can help you schedule an appointment that is convenient for you.

Schedule Your Appointment

No one wants to wait for the next available appointment when they are in pain. We promise to get you in to see the doctor within 48 hours. Many times we can find you an appointment on the same day. Plan to spend about 45 minutes in the office on this first visit only.

Paperwork

It’s no fun doing paperwork when you are in pain. Our intake forms are online and can be filled out from the comfort of your home. This saves you time when you are in the office. The online forms are HIPAA Privacy compliant and are sent directly into our computers. There is one additional short form to complete once you have arrived. If you are unable to complete the intake forms prior to arrival, please arrive 15 minutes early to fill them out on one of our iPads.

Arrival

We are located in the Village of Cherry Hill at 2024 Cherry Hill Drive. Cherry Hill is located at the junction of Chapel Hill Road and Scott Blvd. If you have any trouble finding us, please call 573-443-5900 to be directed in. Look for our logo on the building. We are right inside. There is additional parking in the rear of the building. We are located in suite 101.

Your First Visit

Our staff will collect your insurance information (if applicable) as well as a driver’s license or other form of ID. Once all paperwork is collected, you will be directed to check-in on one of our iPads and rate your symptoms, if any. Your height, weight, and blood pressure will be measured. You will have a consultation with one of the doctors followed by an examination. This is necessary to provide the best care available. If x-rays are medically necessary, they will be preformed in-office. If there are no contraindications, you will receive a relief treatment at your first visit.

Your Findings

The doctor will discuss with you what is causing your problem and what is necessary to correct it at your second visit. If x-rays were taken, the doctor will go through them with you at this time. Our staff will verify your insurance benefits (if applicable) and give you a thorough financial report with an estimated cost of care.

Subsequent Visits

Based on your treatment plan and unique recommendations, you may require several visits in order to reach your health goals. These visits are designed to be timely to fit with your lifestyle, which never slows down. Plan for 5-10 minutes for subsequent visits, unless you are advised otherwise.

Home Programs

Depending on your specific condition, your level of activity, and other lifestyle factors, you may be given a home exercise program to facilitate your results. These exercises are vital to the success of your care. The more active you are, the better your results will be.

At Family First Chiropractic, you will never be treated like another number. You are unique! Your care is also unique. Our doctors have similar adjusting techniques, but may have slightly different styles. If you have a doctor preference, let our staff know at the time of your appointment or you will be placed with the next available appointment. We recommend you don’t get attached to one or the other, the adjusting styles are complimentary to one another and may make a difference in your care.

Family First Chiropractic & Wellness Center believes in the value of wellness care for you and your family and have maintained a pricing structure that allows care for all budgets. Our office participates in most insurance programs. We also accept auto accident and workers compensation cases. For patients who have little or no chiropractic insurance coverage, flexible payment programs can be arranged. Health on a Budget

At Family First Chiropractic & Wellness Center we’re convinced that a small amount of your time and money to care for your most important asset–your health–will be far less time consuming and expensive than trying to recover it. If you feel you do not have enough time or money to take care of yourself, please contact us–we can help!  The last thing we want is for you to come to our wellness center in crisis. So please, we would like to encourage you to take your health very seriously.  As the old saying goes, if you don’t have your health, you don’t have anything.  Unfortunately, too many people don’t discover how true that statement is until it is too late.

 

Insurance

Most insurance plans are accepted at our office. We accept auto accident, workers compensation, personal injury and most health insurance plans, including Medicare. Since there are so many plans and coverage varies widely, please call us to find out if your plan covers care in our office. Our staff will verify and explain your benefits before treatment, at no charge.

Our office staff understands medical insurance and we can assist you in obtaining the maximum benefits specified in your contract. It is important that you realize, however, that your medical insurance is a contract between you, your employer and the insurance company. We are not a party to that contract. This office files your insurance claim as a courtesy to you.

Also, our fees generally, but not necessarily, fall within the usual and customary fee structure determined by your insurance company. Each insurance company updates this fee structure at 12-month intervals, based on fees for the previous 12-24 months. Therefore, the fee schedule they consider “usual and customary” is actually 24-36 months old. What determines the percent they pay is how much your employer is willing to pay for your plan. Each insurance company sells a variety of plans that provide different benefits based on which plan your employer has chosen.

Not all chiropractic services are a covered benefit in all insurance contracts. Some therapies or products we recommend for you may not be covered by your particular plan.

You (not the insurance company) are responsible to us for the entire fee for services rendered for you.

For patients who have insurance, an estimate will be given of the benefits that an insurance company is expected to pay, and any co-payment is expected at the time services are rendered. We employ sophisticated software that tracks the actual payments we receive for various services. Although this is normally very accurate, it is not 100% accurate.

Again, we are glad you have insurance and we will do everything we can to help you receive your maximum benefit.
