DrKelli_1.jpgDr. Kelli Winarski grew up on a farm in southeast Iowa and she attended the University of Northern Iowa (UNI) majoring in biology with a minor in chemistry. It was during her time at UNI that a running injury first introduced her to chiropractic.

"I felt like an old lady in a 20-year-old's body, I couldn’t even go up two steps. After only two adjustments the pain I'd been experiencing for over a year was gone!"

She then began researching the science of chiropractic.

" It just made so much sense to allow the body's inborn intelligence to heal itself. I had to learn more."

After graduating with honors from UNI, Dr. Kelli immediately began her curriculum at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.

The health consciousness at Palmer led Dr. Kelli to drop 30 pounds, run a marathon and several half-marathons, and participate in her first triathlon. She has always had a passion for kids and became interested in wellness while at Palmer. During her time at Palmer, Dr. Kelli attended many seminars and involved herself in many groups that helped to improve her skills in chiropractic adjusting, Active Release Technique (ART), spinal rehabilitation, nutrition, and pediatrics specialty care with the ICPA.

Additionally Dr. Kelli served as 2nd vice president of the student council was active in many clubs & organizations such as SPEAK – a group dedicated to educating the public on health and wellness – as well as teaching students in anatomy and diagnosis.

Dr. Kelli participated in a chiropractic mission trip to the Fijian Islands where she was one of many doctors to bring chiropractic care to over 4000 children in just 6 days! The only health care many of the children would ever receive in their lifetime.

Dr. Kelli enjoys running, biking, recreational swimming, and being outdoors. She is a talented artist and enjoys working with paints, pencils, & watercolors and also likes to knit.

Dr. David and Dr. Kelli were drawn to Columbia because of the general health consciousness and genuine friendliness of the community each time they visited. They are excited to get involved in their community and are already active in the Columbia Chamber of Commerce and Women's Network.

Dr. David and Dr. Kelli have been freeing people from pain in the clinic in Columbia, MO and helping them to experience wellness. They are committed to promoting optimal health and well being of  patients.

Dr. David and Dr. Kelli use a "whole person approach". This approach to wellness means looking for underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption (which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time) and make whatever interventions and lifestyle adjustments that would optimize the conditions for normal function. Using this unique approach, Dr. David and Dr. Kelli are able to help you to accelerate and/or maintain your journey to good health.
